Configure Sunlync Desktop

Overview

This guide explains how to customize the POS desktop to display items such as bed status, sales goals, and other performance metrics.

Step 1: Access Desktop Settings

1. Go to Settings

2. Select SunLync Desktop

   

Step 2: Set Sales Goals 

1. Click Insert
2. Select the Store
3. Check the goals you want to track (e.g., Sales Goals)
4. Enter goal amounts for each day

5. Click Save

   

Step 3: Configure POS Desktop

1. Go to the Misc. tab

2. Click Configure POS Desktop

   

Step 4: Add Desktop Items

1. Click Insert

1. Select the items you want displayed on the POS desktop
   • Examples: Sales Goals, Bed Status, rankings, etc.

Step 5: Arrange Desktop Layout

• Click on items in the preview screen
• Drag and position them as desired

Step 6: Save Configuration

1. Select the Store this layout applies to
2. Click Save

Step 7: Refresh POS

• Close and reopen the POS if it is currently open
• The customized desktop will appear on the right side of the transaction screen

Best Practices

• Customize only the items needed to avoid clutter
• Use consistent layouts across stores for easier staff adoption
