Overview
This guide explains how to customize the POS desktop to display items such as bed status, sales goals, and other performance metrics.
Step 1: Access Desktop Settings
- Go to Settings
Select SunLync Desktop
Step 2: Set Sales Goals
- Click Insert
- Select the Store
- Check the goals you want to track (e.g., Sales Goals)
- Enter goal amounts for each day
Click Save
Step 3: Configure POS Desktop
- Go to the Misc. tab
Click Configure POS Desktop
Step 4: Add Desktop Items
- Click Insert
- Select the items you want displayed on the POS desktop
- Examples: Sales Goals, Bed Status, rankings, etc.
Step 5: Arrange Desktop Layout
- Click on items in the preview screen
- Drag and position them as desired
Step 6: Save Configuration
- Select the Store this layout applies to
- Click Save
Step 7: Refresh POS
- Close and reopen the POS if it is currently open
- The customized desktop will appear on the right side of the transaction screen
Best Practices
- Customize only the items needed to avoid clutter
- Use consistent layouts across stores for easier staff adoption
